Skyking Tactical is a BCA-approved organization providing professional instruction for the Minnesota Permit to Carry.

Our easy-to-understand, 4-hour class is designed with everyday citizens in mind. Whether you are young or old, male or female, experienced or a novice with firearms, our instruction will provide you with the required knowledge and confidence to complete the necessary certificate to receive or renew a Minnesota Permit to Carry.

PERMIT TO CARRY CLASS

Our comprehensive classes are thorough, thoughtful, and fun. Classes generally run 4-hours in length. They include classroom instruction and required qualification shooting. Classes have limited availability and are subject to first-come-first-serve. Cost of training is $75 per person.

Overview of firearm options
Appropriate firearm use
When, where & how to carry
Third party interventions
Training for qualified shooting

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Bill is a skilled firearms instructor, specializing in handguns. His students appreciate his practical wisdom and no-nonsense approach to critical thinking and decision making while carrying a self-defense firearm. When not teaching classes, you can find him hauling his Airstream across the country or flying the friendly skies as a commercial pilot (hence the name “Skyking”). Bill and his wife, Mary, reside in Duluth.
